Government Information: Why is this Important?

Government information, including international, national, state, county, and city resources, is a great place to find statistics, surveys, licensing intormation, as well as information about relocating, jobs, public utilities, parks and recreation, health information, and much more. And it tends to be online and freely available!

Federal Government Information is published by Agency. Use the following search tools to search across the various agencies and access some specific sites related to your programs of study:

USA.GOV is your guide to government information and services.
Govinfo.gov provides free public access to more than a million official publications from all three branches of the Federal Government.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has information about diseases and conditions, healthy living, travelers' health, and statistics on diseases, birth, death, and health for states as well as federally.
Science.gov  provides searching across federal science agencies, including National Library of Medicine, National Science Foundation, NASA, and more.
